Ed did an amazing job teaching our daughter! I also enjoyed the easy appointment setting on the website. I've used the instructors with 4 children now and I highly recommend them. I had one who failed his road test 3 times so that's when I found Alafia Driving Academy. They did one prep with him and he passed the next time. So when another child made me extremely nervous to drive anywhere with her I got a driving package and they were amazing with her. She passed on her first try when it came time to take the road test. I also used them to just do the DMV prep with 2 others and they both also passed on their first try. They are able to explain things so well to them, plus I feel like they have more patience with them than we sometimes do as parents with them driving our cars. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ed at Alafia Driving Academy! From Bishop’s very first lesson through his road test, Ed was professional, patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in making sure Bishop became a safe and confident driver—not simply someone who could pass the test.

One thing I especially appreciated as a parent was the detailed report Ed sent after every driving session. He kept me informed about what they worked on, Bishop’s progress, and anything that needed additional practice. That level of communication gave me tremendous peace of mind and showed just how seriously Ed takes his responsibility as an instructor.

Ed emphasized defensive driving, good decision-making, and the responsibility that comes with having a driver’s license. When it came time for Bishop’s road test, all of that preparation paid off—he passed!!!

I truly appreciate the time, patience, knowledge, and encouragement Ed gave Bishop throughout this entire process. As a parent, you put a lot of trust in the person teaching your child to drive, and I’m extremely happy we chose Ed.
