About
Alafia Driving Academy opened due to the need to provide a better understanding of driving requirements and techniques that were unavailable in the area.
We decided to provide One-on-One, Behind-the-Wheel instruction for the teenagers and adults of eastern Hillsborough County to educate them on how to be a safe driver.

I had a great experience taking driving lessons with Ed Rennakar at Alafia Driving Academy. Mr. Ed is incredibly patient and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped ease my nerves. He focuses on building confidence behind the wheel while making sure you understand safe driving habits. His calm and encouraging teaching style made each lesson comfortable and productive. Thanks to the driving classes he provided, I passed my driving test shortly after completing the lessons. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I highly recommend Mr. Ed to anyone looking for a supportive and skilled driving instructor.
